Terms of Use
Effective date:
- PockUp is free to use. Donations are optional and don’t unlock anything.
- Your entries belong to you. You can export or delete them whenever you want.
- PockUp helps you keep records. It is not financial, tax or legal advice.
- The AI can make mistakes, so check your saved entries.
1. About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Zetway, the maker of PockUp. They apply to the PockUp website, web app and mobile apps (together, “PockUp”). By creating an account or using PockUp, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use PockUp.
2. Who can use PockUp
You must be at least 18 years old, or use PockUp with the involvement of a parent or guardian, and be able to enter into a binding agreement under Indian law.
3. Your account
- Give a real email address and keep your sign-in details safe. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- If you think someone else has accessed your account, change your password and use “Sign out of all devices” in Settings, then tell us.
- Email and password accounts and Google accounts are separate. Use the same sign-in method each time.
4. The service
- PockUp lets you record expenses and income by chat or voice, view history and insights, receive reminders, and export or import your records.
- PockUp uses AI to understand your messages. AI can misread amounts, dates or categories. Each saved entry is shown to you so you can correct it. You are responsible for checking your records.
- PockUp is a record-keeping tool. It does not give financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and it does not move money or connect to your bank.
- We may improve, change or remove features. If we ever plan to shut PockUp down, we will give reasonable notice so you can export your data.
5. Acceptable use
Please don’t:
- break the law, or use PockUp to record or support illegal activity;
- try to access other people’s accounts or data, or probe, scan or attack our systems;
- overload PockUp with automated requests, scrape it, or get around rate limits;
- reverse engineer PockUp, except where the law allows it;
- upload malicious files or content through import or chat.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules, and we will tell you why where we can.
6. Your data
The entries you add are yours. You give Zetway permission to store and process them only so PockUp can work for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can export your data or delete your account at any time.
7. Free to use and donations
- PockUp is free. All features are available without payment.
- You may choose to donate to support PockUp’s running costs. Donations are voluntary, don’t buy any features, priority or services, and are non-refundable, except for a duplicate or mistaken payment reported to us within 7 days.
- Donations are not charitable donations, and they are not eligible for tax deductions such as under Section 80G.
- If we ever introduce paid features, we will tell you clearly in advance. Anything that is free when you sign up will not start charging you without your consent.
8. Our brand and software
The PockUp name, logo, design and software belong to Zetway. These terms give you a personal, non-transferable right to use PockUp; they don’t give you any ownership of it.
9. Disclaimer
PockUp is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work hard to keep it accurate, secure and available, but we can’t promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. Please keep your own copies of important records using the export feature.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Zetway is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on information in PockUp. Because PockUp is free, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to ₹1,000 or the amount you have donated in the previous 12 months, whichever is higher. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
11. Ending your use
You can stop using PockUp and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access for serious or repeated breaches of these terms, or if the law requires it.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the effective date above and, for important changes, tell you in the app or by email before they apply. If you keep using PockUp after that, you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
